La Sape is a brand of quality basics. All our products are made with a maximum of care. With our brand we are choosing the creative and commercial independence. Since the creation in 2012 the process stay the same, very handcrafted which assure us a complete freedom.

What does LA SAPE mean? It's french slang for basics, clothes, apparel.

It's also a really interesting movement from Congo, which literally LA SAPE stands for "Société des Ambianceurs et des Personnes Elégantes", Society of Ambiancers and Elegant People, they practice "sapology", the art of "dressing up" well!

 

The brand is designed and printed in our studio in Portugal. Our collections are instinctives, thought and realized matching with our lives, along our travels and meetings.

La Sape's interest in ethic, nature elements and sport discipline. It’s the search of discovery and adventures. It’s the strength and boldness of the street and it’s cultures.

It’s our choice to make basics, unisex, products as we believe in a garment you can swap, mix and transform.
